Depending on the skin ailment you are trying to treat, our experts at the Synergy Aesthetic & Laser Clinic may concluded that a Chemical Peel would be best to treat your stubborn skin. Generally, fair-skinned and light-haired individuals whom fall on the lower end of the Fitzpatrick scale are the best candidates for a Chemical Peel. If you have darker skin however don’t be discouraged, you will most likely have positive results, depending on the type of issue being treated.
Some Contraindications that may prevent you from getting a Chemical Peel:
✘ If there is a history of Cold Sores (Herpes) you must pre-medicate.
✘ Individuals who have sun burn, active cold sores or warts, inflamed rosacea, or are wounded in the area to be treated.
✘ Persons who are hypersensitive and have a history of rashes or other skin reactions.
✘ Individuals whom have allergies to salicylates like aspirin.
✘ You must not have taken Accutane® within the past year.
✘ Persons who have undergone chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
✘ Individuals whom are pregnant or breast feeding.
✘ Persons with Vitiligo.
✘ Individuals with a history of an autoimmune disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, etc.) or any condition that may weaken their immune system (such as diabetes).
✘ Persons whom had a reaction to the Patch Test.
Peels Offered at Synergy Aesthetic & Laser

Depending on your home care regime, the severity of your skin condition and number of layers applied during the peel, typically only once every four weeks does a Chemical Peel need to be done. We suggest no less than 3-6 Treatments to fully treat whatever complication you may be experiencing.
Our Chemical Peels typically take 30 Minutes to complete.
